About the job
Would you like to take responsibility for Winterthur's architectural heritage and further develop it in the context of overall urban development? In our professionally skilled team, you will handle diverse tasks ranging from building consultation, inventory, to strategic foundational work. We are looking for a personality with foresight, commitment, and joy in interdisciplinary exchange.Your Tasks
- Building consultation with a focus on settlement inventory, development of renovation concepts, and handling of subsidy applications
- Development and updating of monument preservation fundamentals, especially the maintenance and further development of the municipal inventory
- Participation in protection assessments, drafting of monument preservation guidelines, city council decisions, and protection ordinances
- Coordination and quality assurance of expert reports as well as management of internal projects
- Involvement in public relations with tours and specialist articles
Your Profile
- Completed studies in architecture and/or art history, ideally with further education in monument preservation
- Solid practical experience in building consultation dealing with protected buildings
- Knowledge in documentation and inventory as well as scientific work
- Experience in project and process management, independent, strategic, and networked thinking and working methods
- Diplomatic skills, pronounced solution orientation and negotiation competence, as well as a holistic view in the tension field of protection, use, and further development
