Production Mechanic (Overall Responsibility for Mechanical Vocational Training)
Activities
- Overall responsibility for mechanical vocational training (Polymechanic EFZ, Production Mechanic EFZ)
- Demand planning, determination of training quotas, and recruitment of apprentices
- Ensuring modern and high-quality training including further development of training plans, methods, and training materials
- Assuming the role of specialist supervisor in the qualification procedure (including supervision of IPA) if operationally necessary
- Planning and coordination of productive work in the training workshop in close cooperation with mechanical production and prototype construction
- Technical and personal leadership, promotion, and development of apprentices
- Responsible for workshop facilities as well as their optimal use and continuous development
- Conducting training modules for related professions to promote interdisciplinary collaboration
- Management and coordination of learning projects
- Central contact point for vocational training towards authorities, schools, parents, and internal interfaces
Requirements
- Completed basic mechanical training EFZ, ideally as polymechanic or production mechanic
- Several years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience as a vocational trainer or workshop manager, ideally also as a specialist supervisor (conducting IPAs)
- Very good knowledge of CNC programming (preferably Heidenhain iTNC 530/620)
- Solid experience in the CAM area (preferably CAM-Esprit)
- Practical experience with CAD and ERP systems
- Enjoy working with young people
- Good communication skills
- Structured and independent working style with willingness to actively shape technical vocational training
