Correctional Services and Reintegration (JuWe) is part of the Directorate of Justice and the Interior of the Canton of Zurich and employs around 1,400 women and men with diverse professional profiles.
JuWe is responsible for penal and measure enforcement as well as the implementation of various types of detention. For JuWe employees, the successful social reintegration of offenders and the prevention of recidivism are of particular importance.
The Uitikon Measures Center (MZU) is the socio-pedagogical-therapeutic competence center of Correctional Services and Reintegration (JuWe) for the penal and measure enforcement of young offenders aged 16 to 25.
For our training operation in hotel and housekeeping, we are looking for a socially competent and resilient personality to start immediately or by arrangement. The position is initially limited to one year, with the option of a permanent contract.
Your tasks
- You support the daily operations in the hotel and housekeeping area through your active participation
- With careful implementation, you contribute to ensuring that all work processes are efficient, methodically correct, and timely
- You ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards and make sure all regulations are observed
- You actively participate in team meetings
- Through your role model function, you motivate the young offenders and impart valuable work and social skills
Your profile
- You have completed training as a practical housekeeper EBA and bring solid expertise
- With at least seven years of professional experience, you are well familiar with the processes in hotel and housekeeping
- A category B driving license ensures your flexibility and mobility in everyday work
- Resilience, stamina, and team spirit characterize you
- Your German language skills, both spoken and written, are confident, and you work proficiently with common Microsoft applications
- An impeccable reputation without entries in the criminal and debt enforcement registers is required for this position
