The Educational Spaces & Media department in the Vice-Rectorate for Teaching supports faculties and lecturers in the digitalization of teaching, accompanies the introduction of new educational technologies at the University of Basel, and creates spaces for contemporary university teaching and learning.
Your tasks
As Service Owner, you take over the coordination of the eAssessment area. Your tasks include:
- Operational assurance of the "eAssessment on Campus" service
- Further development and assurance of the service
- Service Owner of the examination platforms EvaExam
- Positioning of the services in the portfolio, for suitability ("Fit for Use") as well as for further development (lifecycle)
- Coordination of overarching change management with all stakeholders
- Service- and solution-oriented consulting and support in projects
- Building and leading an interest group for eAssessment at the University of Basel
- Coordination and leadership of the eAssessment operational meetings
Your profile
- University degree
- Additional qualifications in didactics/e-learning as well as project management or IT service management
- Confident handling of IT applications, including learning management systems
- Sound knowledge in project management and IT service management
- Communication skills in German and English
- Target group-oriented presentation of content
- Creation and maintenance of instructions, FAQs, glossaries, and informational materials
- Moderation and leadership of meetings
- Independent working style with technical flair
- Team and diversity skills
- Confident acting in projects and with various stakeholders
- Perseverance and solution-oriented action to achieve goals
