As a GTF Head of Operations you will be responsible for leading all day-to-day disassembly and assembly operations for the PW1100G-JM engine, from induction to release, ensuring high performance in turnaround time (TAT), on-time delivery (OTD), and operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will drive process excellence and cost optimisation through best practices and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with all OEM and airworthiness standards.
Your tasks
- Oversee all PW1100G-JM disassembly and assembly operations, including managing Centres of Excellence (COEs) for backshop repairs
- Ensure Turnaround Time (TAT) and On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets are consistently achieved
- Implement best practices to maximise efficiency, streamline processes and reduce operational costs
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of Trust, Accountability, and Teamwork
- Ensure full compliance with SR Technics, OEM, and airworthiness authority standards and regulations
- Promote a strong Safety and Quality Culture, ensuring all safety management elements are implemented and continuously improved
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Planning, Quality, HR, Parts Repair Operations) and the OEM network to align processes and ensure smooth operations
- Support the expansion and industrialization of New Engine capabilities within SR Technics
Your Profile
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related technical field
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in MRO or production environments, including at least 5 years in a leadership role is a must
- Technical background: Strong operational knowledge of engine or aircraft maintenance (EASA Part-145) is a must
- Lean mindset: Proven experience implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Soft skills: Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership, decision-making ability, and strong communication skills across all levels
- Languages: Fluent in English (C1–C2); German is a strong advantage
- Systems: Proficiency in ERP/SAP and MS Office tools
