Who are we?

The Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training EHB is the Swiss center of expertise for vocational education and training. We train and further educate vocational education professionals, research vocational education, develop professions, and support international vocational education cooperation. Our locations are in Zollikofen near Bern (headquarters), Lausanne, and Lugano, with external sites in Olten and Zurich.

For the Services division, we are looking immediately or by arrangement in Zollikofen for a

Head of Service Desk 80 - 100 %

As Head of Service Desk, you will significantly shape the IT services and how IT is perceived within the company.

Your area of responsibility

• Further development of services and collaboration between the national and regional service desks in Lausanne and Lugano
• Management and development of the team across the 3 locations
• Ensuring the satisfaction of our users
• First, Second, and Third Level Support in cooperation with our suppliers
• Planning, leading, and implementing projects
• Responsible for the training of ICT apprentices

Your profile

• You have a professional qualification as an IT specialist (EFZ) and/or a higher vocational education degree in the field of system technology and bring several years of professional experience in the development and architecture of ICT infrastructures
• You have many years of solid experience in First and Second Level Support and have experience in the areas of Entra-ID, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Client Engineering, Cloud, and Security
• You have experience as a team leader
• You are a trained vocational trainer
• You demonstrate consistent commitment at work and deliver the required performance with the available capacities
• You work efficiently and structured and are a team player
• You think solution-, quality-, and service-oriented
• You have good German skills and can communicate in French and English
