As a Calibration Specialist you will: Perform calibration of tools sent to Calibration Services under consideration of the capabilities to assure the required measurements according to the specified standards.
Your tasks
- Calibrate assigned tools according to EN ISO/IEC 17025 and within the agreed turn-around time.
- Communicate with customers about findings, required specifications and target dates.
- Ensure availability and proper use of standards, tools and software, including on-site calibrations when needed.
- Check data entries and calibration certificates to ensure completeness, accuracy and required quality.
- Request publication and updating of relevant technical specifications.
- Process and analyse measured values, making decisions based on legal requirements and standards.
- Perform repairs and adjustments on electronic measuring tools and act as main contact person for the assigned range of tools.
Your Profile
- Completed 4-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician, with solid knowledge of analogue systems.
- Basic understanding of RF and related systems (beneficial).
- Willingness to work 10–20% at test stands in a harsh production environment.
- Experienced in reading and understanding technical manuals in both English and German.
- Logical, analytical and well organised, able to keep an overview of complex areas.
- Strong MS Office user with good communication skills to build relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Language skills: German C1, English B2; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
