The positions are attached to the Operations Department. This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the smooth running of all HUG services, in terms of catering, cleaning and disinfection of premises, and laundry hygiene. It also manages the Sterilization Service, the Biomedical and Equipment Service, as well as Cressy-Health. More than 1,100 professionals carry out their missions daily with constant rigor, a sense of service, and environmental responsibility.
Within the Operations Department, the Laundry Processing and Distribution Service provides a complete laundry service that includes the supply and distribution of linen and professional clothing. Patients, clients, and customers can also benefit from these services.
Job Description
Within the Laundry Processing and Distribution Service and in strict compliance with applicable hygiene standards (RABC method), you supply care units with clean linen, collect used (dirty) linen from care units, ensure the treatment, ironing, and calendering of linen, and provide the professional clothing necessary for the various trades of the establishment.
Additionally, you install and remove curtains, bed surrounds, and various textile items in rooms and throughout the establishment.
Qualifications
You have good knowledge of textiles and a good command of the French language, both written and spoken.
You have 2 to 3 years of experience in a logistics sector or comparable for the delivery specialty, as well as 2 to 3 years of experience in a laundry for the laundry worker specialty.
You are in excellent physical condition, as the position requires standing and pulling heavy cabinets.
You hold a driving license.
You are a versatile and flexible person with a good team spirit and customer service attitude. You demonstrate precision and meticulousness.
Additional Information
The team's working hours are organized in 2 alternating shifts between 5:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with versatility across all HUG sites. This position also requires working some weekends and public holidays.
