Introduction
Spacetek's technology has its origins in scientific space flight. We use this expertise to design, manufacture and distribute compact and robust time-of-flight mass spectrometers (TOF-MS) for industrial and space applications. Our focus is to close the gap in the current lack of process control of existing and future manufacturing technologies in the semiconductor industry.
Our products redefine the real-time analysis of chemical processes in physical processes. This massively improves process control and increases production yields. At the same time, waste and environmental impact are minimized. Our innovation is used in an international environment with business partners in Germany, Korea and Japan. Our network is growing rapidly in Asia, Europe and the USA.
The company is based in Switzerland (Gümligen) and has a team of 41 members. Our company has offices in South Korea (Dongtan, Hwaseong) and Taiwan (Taichung).
We are looking for a motivated and precise worker to join our R&D team.
About the job
Your Responsibilities:
- Analysis, problem solving and continuous improvement of existing systems
- Development and optimization of analog control circuits
- FPGA design and implementation with Xilinx Vivado and VHDL
- Support with the design and implementation of embedded Linux systems with Yocto
- Development and design of electronic circuits and PCBs with Altium Designer
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team in an agile environment operating close to the limits of physics
Your Profile
- A degree in electronic engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of industry experience in electronics development
- Expertise in circuit and PCB design
- Experience with FPGA design
- Knowledge of embedded Linux systems
- Ability to work independently in a structured manner
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), German proficiency is a plus
- Curiosity and enthusiasm to solve technical problems as part of an interdisciplinary team
Spacetek is headquartered in Gümligen (a suburb of Bern) and has branch offices in Korea and Taiwan, with a team of 40 employees. This position is based at the headquarters in Gümligen (Bern). Start date to be agreed upon.
