About the job
Construction and Environment Department
The Office for the Environment is responsible for the sustainable use of natural resources such as soil, water, air, quiet, climate, and wildlife. It implements the cantonal tasks in environmental legislation, the Water Protection Act, as well as the laws in the areas of hunting and fishing.
The Office for the Environment is looking for an intern starting May 1, 2026, or by agreement, for a 60-100% position.
During your internship, you will gradually take on responsibility and gain valuable work experience through exchange with experienced employees. You will gain insights into various areas of the Office for the Environment and contribute your own ideas. We support and promote you during your internship, enabling you to independently pursue your path.
Your tasks
- Support in environmental and water protection legal clarifications and projects
- Assistance and independent data collection and processing
- Support in assessments of building permit procedures
- Communication and interaction with various internal and external interfaces
- Support of the office management and employees of the Office for the Environment
- Independent processing and management of small projects
- Fieldwork, conducting soil samples
Your profile
- Good German skills (native language) in spoken and written form
- Interest in environmental and water protection, precise and efficient working style, and enjoyment of working outdoors
- Environmentally relevant studies or still in training (environmental sciences, biology, etc.)
- Good PC skills (especially MS Office)
- Driver's license, category B
- Communicative, team-oriented, and responsible personality
- Precise and structured working style
