What to expect
- Willingness to establish a DevOps culture
- In the team, you complement and support our development projects in the areas of infrastructure, tools, and deployment management
- You perform engineering activities to introduce new tools and technologies along the principles of DevOps in the cloud or on-premises
- You further develop various applications in the front and backend and ensure their quality by writing unit and application tests
- You set up operational and maintenance processes along DevOps principles
- You manage and operate the IT infrastructure and applications either on-premises or in a cloud. You are familiar not only with the user sides of tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Ansible, or OpenShift but also feel at home on the Linux shell and in the administration of the tools
- You advise and support your colleagues and our customers regarding tool usage and best practices. This typically includes the entire life cycle, including deployments
- You adapt our build and deployment processes to project requirements and automate them
- You promote constructive collaboration between business, IT departments, and other stakeholders. With your DevOps know-how, you help our customers with their innovations and the successful implementation of their DevOps applications
- Encounter a collegial and positive working environment where you log in with joy to your laptop every morning and where your strengths are actively promoted
- Depending on seniority, you develop our team in content and personnel: expanding know-how, our offerings, and onboarding new employees
What you bring
- University degree in computer science
- Experience in software development (web technologies, Java Springboot, iOS, Android, etc.)
- Experience in setup, administration, and operation of lifecycle, build, and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Experience in designing and implementing industry-standard scripts, the toolchain for build automation, and deployment
- Experience in agile software development and/or IT operations. Knowledge of Scrum, SAFe, and ITIL is an advantage
- As an employee of an IT service provider, reliability and customer orientation are a matter of course for you. You conduct intensive communication in our customer projects motivated and professionally
- High willingness to work and flexibility as well as readiness to learn new things
- Structured and goal-oriented approach
Advantageous
- Experience with the services of one of the well-known cloud providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
