The editorial team of Gender Campus, based at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Gender Studies IZFG at the University of Bern , is looking for, starting January 2026, a Project Collaborator (40%) for a fixed-term contract until March 31, 2027, within the framework of the project " Transforming training spaces: confronting racism, anchoring intersectionality "
Main activities
• Collaboration in the writing and promotion of a publication dedicated to the topic
• Participation in the organization of a conference and networking meetings
• Networking work: maintaining contacts, preparing and implementing exchange formats, coordinating communication with partners and the network of concerned persons
• Collaboration in podcast production (coordination of guests, recording, editing, publication)
• Administrative and organizational assistance in project management
• Editorial collaboration in project communication (website, press releases)
• Management of project-related documents, databases, and mailing lists
Requirements
• Experience in anti-racism work from an intersectional perspective; in-depth knowledge of research on racism and post- and decolonial studies
• Strong organizational skills
• Rigorous, autonomous, and team-oriented working methods
• Good knowledge of German, French, and English
• University degree (MA) or advanced studies in cultural studies, gender studies, or related humanities and social sciences
• Experience in film and podcast production, event organization, and proficiency with digital tools (CMS, mailing lists) is an advantage
