Deputy Head of Catering

The Breitenhof Center includes a senior center with around 95 residents with different care and nursing needs as well as a day care KitS for children and seniors. 

For the area of hospitality / catering we are looking for a flexible person from September 1, 2026 

• Taking over production management
• Deputizing the catering team leader
• Responsibility and contact person for prescribed diet forms
• Proper preparation and distribution of meals
• Participation in banquets and events
• Material management and ordering
• Main responsibility for the training of our apprentices 

• Advanced professional training as a chef and diet cook

• Very good German skills spoken and written, English an advantage

• Good ICT user skills

• Organizational talent, independent and structured way of working

• Neat appearance and good manners
• Reliable, flexible, motivated, resilient & team player
• Hygiene, quality and cost awareness
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Empathy, impeccable conduct and understanding for elderly people and apprentices
• Trainer course and experience in training apprentices
• Leadership experience an advantage
• Several years of professional experience, preferably already worked in healthcare
