About the job
Activities- Inform clients about the goals and importance of social integration in their daily lives in Switzerland
- Conduct assessments and evaluate each profile individually to propose approaches and measures tailored to the needs of each individual
- Develop a project for social integration or the development of employment potential together with each client, accompanied by an action plan and medium- and long-term goals tailored to their profile
- Ensure coordination with internal and external medical networks (doctors, psychologists, specialized services) to guarantee coherent care, share relevant information while respecting medical confidentiality, and adapt social integration measures to medical recommendations
- Accompany clients on-site, individually or in groups depending on circumstances, with the aim of introducing them to existing measures that can meet their personal expectations and needs
- Regular evaluation with providers of measures during and after each placement
- Identify, develop, and create synergies and partnerships with other organizations and specialized services that meet the needs of clients
- Collaborate and coordinate with social workers, home managers, vocational integration consultants, volunteer coordinators, and colleagues from other areas
- Perform administrative tasks associated with the position
Requirements
- An academic or professional qualification related to the role
- Several years of experience in migration, integration, or psychology
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team
- Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to independently carry out social interventions
- Basic knowledge and user skills of MS Office applications
- Impeccable reputation (no entries in debt enforcement or criminal records)
