Automation Engineer Pharma Engineering (m/f/d)
Your area of responsibility:
- Support of existing and new automation systems integrated or to be integrated into the Roche infrastructure.
- Operational engineering with the goal of ensuring continuous production maintenance at all times.
- Continuous optimization of process plants and evaluating, testing, and recommending new technologies.
- Proactive support of business partners in defining and initiating investment projects, including cost estimates and schedules.
- Participation in (leading) interdisciplinary teams composed of internal and external employees and companies.
- Independent handling of subprojects in all project phases with responsibility for costs, deadlines, resources, and technical solutions.
- Support during audits and inspections by internal bodies and authorities in the GMP and SGU areas.
Your applicant profile:
- Completed vocational training or degree as a technician/engineer in automation, electrical engineering, technical computer science, or comparable field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in automation, preferably with a pharmaceutical background.
- Very good user knowledge in automation software, for example: Siemens PCS7, TIA, WinCC, or other systems such as B&R, etc.
- Experience with vertical integration of systems into higher-level systems (e.g., automation pyramid / PI & MES).
- Solid experience in GMP and GAMP environments.
- Willingness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment.
- Very good German skills are required; English and French skills are an advantage.
- High social competence, teamwork skills, and very good communication, coordination, and organizational skills in dealing with stakeholders and at all levels of project work.
- Enthusiasm as well as independent, business partner-oriented working style.
- Independence, initiative, and integrity as well as very high service orientation with a strong sense of duty.
- Questioning conventional thinking patterns and openness to new, creative ideas – also outside familiar fields ("out of the box thinking").
- Ability to break down complex issues (end-to-end) and communicate them in an adapted language to business partners and stakeholders.
