YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- You perform the function of responsible welding supervision at Stadler Bussnang AG according to EN 15085-2 and ISO 3834-2
- Technical leadership of the currently 8-member welding supervision team
- You review contract, manufacturing, and process documents regarding manufacturing and quality requirements and evidence, manufacturing possibilities, and compliance with standards
- You create and monitor compliance with welding planning documents, work instructions, and project-specific test instructions
- You ensure the quality of internal welding production in the aluminum area (CL 1)
- You conduct audits and First Article Inspections at our suppliers
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Degree (FH/University) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent
- Additional training as IWE/EWE (International/European Welding Engineer) mandatory
- Several years of experience in a comparable function (preferably in rail vehicle construction)
- Assertive personality with a pragmatic and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German and English skills (level B2) in spoken and written form
- Willingness to travel occasionally for plant and supplier visits
