The St.Gallen municipal utilities are a reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly for the region in the supply of energy, water, and fiber optics. The district heating network is continuously being expanded and thus makes an important contribution to the heat supply of the city of St.Gallen. Many exciting projects are in the pipeline, such as the current commissioning of a new storage facility in the district heating center. Therefore, we are looking for a

Specialist Production District Heating (m/f/d) 80 - 100%

This is what you will do:

• You operate the district heating production plants safely and reliably.
• In this responsible position, you always prioritize supply security.
• You are co-responsible for the maintenance and optimization of the plants and plan as well as organize repairs and renewals.
• You monitor and supervise system-relevant parameters and regularly perform functional checks of all important operational and safety equipment.
• After your training period, you provide on-call service and thus take on an important role in the team for the reliable operation of the district heating supply.

This is what you bring with you:

• For this demanding activity, we expect a completed training as a heating installer, electrical installer, or comparable, as well as ideally further advanced training or the willingness to complete it.
• You have completed vocational training as a heating plant operator or are willing to complete it.
• In-depth knowledge in the maintenance and operation of large heat plants and process control systems is an advantage.
• As a team player, you integrate quickly and, thanks to your quick comprehension, are able to independently find convincing solutions.
• You work independently, precisely, and efficiently, always keeping the needs of the customers in mind.
• A category B driving license is mandatory, and the travel time must not exceed 30 minutes due to the on-call service.
