Head of Hydraulic Production (m/f/d)
Your challenge:
You bear overall responsibility for the safe, reliable, and economical operation of the hydropower plants. Together with nine directly subordinate managers, you lead and develop the organisation distributed throughout Switzerland. As a member of the Hydroenergy & Biomass division management, you also actively shape the strategic further development of the area. The focus is on:
• Leadership and further development of Hydraulic Production
• Ensuring operation, maintenance, and technical availability
• Responsibility for safety, economic efficiency, and costs
• Further development of organisation, processes, and collaboration
• Co-shaping the Hydroenergy & Biomass division
• Representation of Axpo towards partner plants, authorities, and other stakeholders
Your profile:
You are a technically credible and entrepreneurially minded leader with solid experience in the operation and maintenance of complex large-scale plants. You have a technical education at university level and many years of leadership experience, ideally in the power plant, energy, or comparable large plant environment.
You combine technical competence with leadership strength, adaptability to change, and pronounced stakeholder competence. Very good German and English skills are required; French and/or Italian are an advantage.
