Do you dream of experiencing the Olympic experience? Passionate about working with photos and videos? The IOC is looking for several temporary documentalists to efficiently catalog and index the visual archives of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games this winter!
Main responsibilities
CIO photo and video archive cataloging and indexing
- Cataloging and indexing (generally or in detail, depending on the collection concerned) of the IOC's video and/or photo archives related to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, including identification of people, places, and events.
The main themes are: the sporting events and ceremonies of the Olympic Games, the Olympic torch relay, sponsor images, the organization of the Games, and the atmosphere in the city. - Writing a title or caption in French and English.
- Reporting progress to the team manager, with a focus on quality monitoring and meeting deadlines.
AI Sport Tagging Project
- Application of new procedures related to indexing based on the Artificial Intelligence module
- Verification of proposed metadata, adjustment if necessary, and sending feedback on the accuracy of identification.
Your profile
Education, language and computer skills
- Bachelor HEG or apprentice in documentary information (AID) or equivalent training.
- Professional experience in an audiovisual/photo archives service and/or a collection management service is an asset.
- Proficiency in IT (PC/Office 365 environment) and digital media management software (MAM/DAM).
- Good knowledge of and interest in sport in general and the Olympic Movement in particular.
- Languages: French (native) and English (minimum intermediate level).
Technical, organizational and personal skills
- Rigor, synthesis skills, clarity in writing.
- Ability to quickly apply the principles contained in the image cataloging/indexing rules.
- Strong sense of service and attention to detail. Rigor in recording sources used: glossaries, official IOC sources.
- Endurance, ability to plan work autonomously while respecting quality and productivity criteria.
- Ability to remain effective in a changing environment, to adapt positively to new tasks.
- Learning common tools (SharePoint, Outlook, etc.) and assimilating internal usage rules.
