Due to a retirement, we are looking for a committed, strong leadership personality for the position of Chief Physician Neurology.

Take the opportunity to assume a central leadership role in one of the leading rehabilitation centers in Switzerland – with scope for design, responsibility, and direct involvement in the strategic further development within the ZURZACH Care Group.

The Rehabilitation Clinic Limmattal has 46 beds and offers a comprehensive neurological rehabilitation program at a high medical level. Our range of services includes neurological rehabilitation including monitoring and accident rehabilitation. From June 2026, we will expand our offer with an additional department for musculoskeletal rehabilitation – another milestone in our site development.

In close coordination with the involved specialist departments and in partnership with the Limmattal Hospital as well as the medical emergency department, we ensure rapid, coordinated, and acute somatic treatment at all times even in emergency complications.

Your tasks

• Medical overall management: You are responsible for the medical management of the clinic as well as for the personnel leadership of the medical team
• Strategic further development: In close coordination with the clinic manager and the CMO, you implement corporate goals, further develop the site, and ensure economically responsible personnel planning – without compromising medical quality.
• Excellent patient care: You care for and treat our patients in close cooperation with senior, senior specialist, specialist, and assistant physicians.
• Leadership responsibility and promotion of junior staff: You are responsible for the training of our assistant physicians as well as clinical specialists
• Interdisciplinary collaboration: You strengthen the partnership cooperation with nursing, therapy, and other specialist departments and promote a culture of shared responsibility.
• Representation: You represent the clinic within the ZURZACH Care Group as well as externally towards referring agencies, cost bearers, and trusted physicians
• Continuing education and training: You actively participate in the planning and implementation of continuing education and training and promote continuous quality development.

Your profile

• Professional qualification: Swiss federal or recognized specialist title in neurology in Switzerland
• Authorization: You hold a valid professional practice license (BAB) or are willing to apply for one
• Experience: You bring experience in a leading medical role with proven personnel, professional, and organizational responsibility as well as experience in the strategic further development of medical services and in managing complex interdisciplinary treatment pathways
• Personality: You think entrepreneurially, have a solid business understanding, and actively and enthusiastically shape a growing site. As an integrative and determined personality, you lead specialist departments in a connecting, clear, and socially competent manner. In interprofessional and interdisciplinary collaboration as well as in exchange with internal and external stakeholders, you appear confident, coordinated, and solution-oriented.
