Process Optimization and Innovation Engineer (m/f) Role Description
The Process Optimization and Innovation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and improving production and operational processes with a data-driven and innovation-oriented approach. They will be a key player in identifying improvement opportunities, implementing new technologies, and optimizing resources to increase efficiency and reduce costs, while ensuring high standards of quality and sustainability. Main Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production processes and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement innovative solutions for process optimization.
- Identify and introduce new technologies, automation, and digital tools to improve productivity.
- Collaborate with production, automation, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct Time & Motion studies, workflow analysis.
- Manage innovation projects in synergy with technology suppliers, research institutions, and industrial partners.
- Train staff on new processes and methodologies implemented.
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Knowledge of foreign languages (English and/or German).
- Previous work experience in the medical sector is appreciated.
- Excellent ability to work independently and in teams, with a spirit of collaboration and proactivity.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving orientation.
- Attitude towards continuous improvement and innovation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, also in multidisciplinary and international contexts.
