This is a strategic role that bridges HR compensation strategy with cutting-edge technology to enhance employee experience. This position focuses on designing intuitive digital interfaces, optimizing HR systems, and leveraging AI and data analytics to streamline compensation, benefits, and rewards processes. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless, transparent, and user-friendly interactions for employees while driving operational efficiency and compliance.
This position is critical in shaping a modern, digital-first total rewards experience that empowers employees with transparency and ease of access while driving HR efficiency through technology. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, tech-savvy leader, and employee advocate who can bridge the gap between HR strategy and IT execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology & Data Strategy
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of HCM systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors) for compensation, benefits, and rewards modules.
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance in compensation and benefits systems.
- Integrate AI and automation to enhance predictive analytics, benchmarking, and decision-making in total rewards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to align technology with business needs.
2. User Experience & Digital Transformation
- Design and improve employee-facing digital interfaces for compensation, benefits, and rewards to enhance transparency and accessibility.
- Reduce complexity in pay structures, benefits enrollment, and merit cycles through intuitive UX/UI design.
- Partner with HR and IT to transition from manual/Excel-based processes to automated, self-service workflows.
3. Process Optimization & Automation
- Streamline Total Rewards processes through digital workflows.
- Implement real-time analytics dashboards for HR and leadership to track compensation trends and employee sentiment.
- Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation in rewards administration.
4. Strategic Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure compensation strategies align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making in total rewards, using analytics to measure program effectiveness.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in compensation technology, AI, and employee experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years in HR Technology, Compensation, or Total Rewards with a strong focus on HCM systems.
- Experience in UX/UI design principles for HR systems, with a focus on employee self-service.
- Ability to bring clarity and direction in complex, dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in data analytics, AI, and automation tools for compensation and benefits.
- Strong understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across HR, IT, and Finance.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 224700 - 525600(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
