Job Description
YOUR TASKS
As a Payroll Officer, you are responsible for the smooth and timely payroll processing of a defined group of employees. With your expertise, you advise colleagues and managers on all payroll-related topics and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
You will:
- Prepare the payroll processing of an assigned group of employees including all payroll-relevant changes (without payroll run)
- Advise and support an assigned group of employees regarding personnel law, payroll, and insurance-related questions
- Process entries and exits as well as changes, maintain digital personnel files, and write work certificates
- Create HR reports and statistics in collaboration with the HR and Controlling team
- Handle the registration, processing, and billing of sickness and accident daily allowances, family allowances, and EO compensations
- Be responsible for filling out various forms and further correspondence for social partners (unemployment insurance, disability insurance, withholding tax offices)

In the role of Payroll Officer, you work closely with colleagues from the payroll team, managers from various departments, as well as external partners such as insurance companies and authorities. You are part of a committed and trustworthy HR environment that aims to provide employees with professional, solution-oriented, and service-oriented support. You report to the Payroll Lead.
WHAT YOU BRING
We are looking for personalities with...
- A completed commercial training with experience in payroll
- Ideally basic knowledge of labor and social insurance law
- A flair for numbers and understanding of working in a digital environment (SharePoints etc.)
- Confident handling of MS Office 365 (especially Excel and Teams)
- Fluent German and French skills in spoken and written form

- Work in an organized and responsible manner and like to keep an overview
- Handle sensitive data discreetly and confidentially
- Are communicative and team-oriented and enjoy exchanging with others

JOIN OUR TEAM
This full-time position in Neuendorf (Switzerland) is based on a 38.5-hour week and is to be filled from 01.05.2026. A part-time option can be agreed upon after consultation. The position follows a hybrid working model with the expectation that you are present in the office at least 3 days per week.
