We are looking for a consultant on a permanent contract (CDI) to take on the role of EHS audit consultant within our Compliance, Strategy and Transaction (CST) department, which brings together the EHS, Industrial Risks & Due Diligence professions.
Our international industrial clients call on Ramboll to assist them, in each country where they are established, to assess and ensure the compliance of their industrial sites with the applicable EHS regulatory requirements.
Through these assignments, you will have the opportunity to understand a variety of industrial processes (heavy industries, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, automotive and aeronautical subcontractors, data centers, etc.) and a diversity of corporate cultures. In a context of increasingly complex EHS regulations over the years, you will collaborate with clients to identify the EHS risks of their activities, identify the applicable regulatory requirements and gaps, and evaluate the implementation methods of corrective measures.
Your main tasks:
- Conduct EHS regulatory compliance audits (Environment-Hygiene-Safety-Energy).
- Perform other EHS missions, advice, and audits: Due Diligence, EHS management system, safety culture and procedures.
These missions will involve travel of varying durations from 1 to 5 days.
You will be based in Aix-en-Provence, Vaulx-en-Velin, Bordeaux, or Paris, with possible teleworking according to the telework charter.
You will have executive status.
The mission may be expanded depending on the candidate's profile and our needs.
- Writing commercial proposals and managing client relationships,
- EHS assistance and advice to our clients,
- Creation and delivery of EHS training modules (Safety culture, etc.),
- Participation in the preparation of studies and regulatory ICPE files (Notification (PAC), Operating Authorization Request File (DDAE), Impact Study, Hazard Study (EDD)),
- Supervision of junior consultants.
Required skills:
To apply for this position, you must hold a master's degree (engineering degree or Master 2 in occupational health and safety and environment) with a successful first experience (minimum 10 years) in a position with strong EHS involvement.
A very good knowledge of legislation applicable to industrial companies (ICPE and Seveso regulations, Environmental Code, Energy Code, Labor Code, Public Health Code) and its operational application on sites is essential.
For this position, you must also speak English fluently in writing and orally (deliverables to be written in English or French depending on clients) and demonstrate:
- Appropriate communication skills for audit/advice to establish a climate of trust, listening, and sharing;
- Rigor and perseverance to assess compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Rigor and synthesis skills to write audit reports;
- Good written expression and presentation skills to present mission conclusions both in writing and orally;
- Autonomy while being able to work for and within a team;
- Organizational and deadline management skills;
- Availability for travel of 1 to 5 days for at least 1/3 of working time.
Valid driving license B required.
Optional but appreciated skills
- Experience in implementing or auditing ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001 management systems
- Experience in developing legal registers and EHS regulatory databases
- Ability to conduct EHS training sessions
