As a Network Security Solutions Architect, you are responsible for the development and implementation of network security solutions that protect our mission-critical infrastructure and data. You work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that our network security is up to date and guaranteed against current threats and challenges.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of network security architectures and policies for highly available and critical network environments in OT and IT contexts
- Collaboration with sales and technical teams to develop customized security solutions
- Conducting risk analyses and security assessments of the network architecture
- Development of solutions for threat detection and defense
- Collaboration with the IT and operations team to ensure network security in all lifecycle phases as platform manager
- Training employees regarding network security policies and procedures
- Active participation in the evaluation of new technologies and security solutions
Profile and Experience
- Completed studies in computer science, IT security, or a related field
- Several years of experience in firewalling, routing, switching, XDR, IDS/IPS, PAM, and other IT security topics – ideally with corresponding certifications
- Solid knowledge of security solutions, technologies, and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, IEC62443, NIST)
- Experience in developing and implementing security strategies in critical environments
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with high social competence and efficiency
- Fluent German and good English skills
