Project Manager for the Cardiology Department
We are looking for a project manager with a workload between 50% and 80% for our Cardiology Department.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
Primarily attached to the Cardiology department, you support this department in its clinical development through your organizational support (setting up new consultations, shortening care times, simplifying patient appointments, etc.). The challenges to be met are numerous with annually more than 2,300 hospitalized patients, 4,000 interventions, 20,000 consultations and examinations, a state-of-the-art technical platform, and many specialties.
You also work on continuous improvement missions and project coordination for cross-cutting issues within the Heart-Vessels and Surgery departments.
Mission
Your main tasks will be as follows:
- You support business specialists in carrying out their projects from the expression of needs to final validation
- You define or specify objectives, results, actions to be taken, and the strategy to carry them out
- You propose and implement measures for organizational simplification, process clarification, and resource optimization
- You coordinate the project portfolio and reporting to management
- You provide methodological support to the various professional bodies
- You lead working groups and communicate about projects
- You ensure follow-up of actions and documentation
- You contribute to the identification, evaluation, and deployment of technological solutions, particularly related to process automation and artificial intelligence tools.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a University or a University of Applied Sciences
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in operational project management and continuous improvement
- You have knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, Prince2…)
- You are pragmatic with strong analytical and synthesis skills
- You are recognized for your rigor and writing skills
- You have good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to assert your convictions and bring together different stakeholders.
