About the Role
The role of Operations Team Member encompasses a range of diverse tasks that play a key role in Avery Dennison's manufacturing operations. In this position, you follow standard operating procedures to improve product and process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality. You support initiatives in safety, quality, and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and site goals.
Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring production equipment according to specifications for volume, speed, and quality.
- Performing shipping and receiving activities as well as accurate data entry into systems.
- Carrying out basic maintenance and repair work on machines and facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and actively participating in quality controls.
- Supporting the team in completing essential tasks required for plant operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating production machinery or in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety and quality orientation.
- Basic mechanical understanding and manual skills for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Careful working style with attention to detail as well as basic computer skills for documentation.
- Adaptability and team spirit to support shared site goals.
