About the job
The Winterthur Sports Office implements various sports promotion projects for children, youth, and adults. By maintaining municipal sports and recreational facilities, it provides the infrastructure for active leisure activities. The Deutweg Ice Sports Facility offers top-quality ice almost all year round. It serves not only as the home of EHC Winterthur and the Winterthur Skating Club but also hosts various events as a multifunctional hall. Starting March 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for a personality who does not get cold feet even in icy temperatures.Your Tasks
- Supervision of ice rink operations and customer care
- Assistance in emergency situations and providing first aid services
- Monitoring of technical systems
- Cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of technical systems, equipment, ice, and green areas
- Shift work, including evening, night, and weekend duties
- Possible assignments at other sports facilities during summer
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training
- Strong technical understanding and quick comprehension
- Experience as an ice master is an advantage
- Team and communication skills, enjoyment of working in the ice rink environment and dealing with a diverse clientele
- Driver's license category B, good German skills, additional languages are an advantage
