NOOHN is an innovative restaurant in the center of Basel, whose sophisticated concept, extraordinary interior design, and unique ambiance have turned countless visitors into regular guests since its opening in 2006. Thanks to its wide selection of sushi and Euro-Asian dishes, NOOHN has also become a meeting point for many "expats" in the region. Its 800 m2 area is shared by a restaurant with 250 seats, a self-service area, a sushi bar, and a lounge bar with up to 300 seats. Overall, the NOOHN world offers space for events of various kinds with up to 600 people. The venue gains additional appeal in the warm season, when guests can indulge themselves in the shady garden restaurant in the Kirschgarten courtyard or enjoy the view of the city from the picturesque rooftop terrace during aperitifs in the evening.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated personality in the service area starting immediately or by arrangement as:
Service Staff / Allrounder on an Hourly Wage or Part-Time Position (50%-80%)
Your tasks:
- Preparing the service (Mise en Place)
- Courteous guest care
- Serving food and drinks
- Creating guest bills
- Clearing and cleaning tables as well as general cleaning tasks
You bring with you:
- Experience in service is an advantage
- Enjoyment in guest contact, a positive demeanor, and strong communication skills
- An independent, responsible way of working
