Responsible for supporting and executing the financial operations, contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes through sound analysis.
IHRE AUFGABEN

Manage complex accounting policy-related requests from day-to-day business operations based on IFRS Accounting Standards and Swiss Banking GAAP, including the creation of complete technical documentation in accordance with internal and external requirements

Actively support Group-wide and Bank-wide finance projects regarding the correct compliance with IFRS provisions and their operational implementation

Proactively monitor and internally implement relevant changes in IFRS Accounting Standards

Maintain and appropriately develop the Group Accounting and Reporting Manual

Ensure the content requirements for IFRS-based financial reports, including the implementation of new or revised accounting standards or other requirements

Collaborate in the preparation of financial reports at Group and Bank level

Provide support in reviewing and approving booking logics in finance projects from an Accounting Policy perspective, particularly within the framework of bank-wide transformation projects, as well as for new products or business initiatives of the Group or the Bank

Function as a central interface between the finance department and both external and internal auditors, including clarification of technical questions

Independently develop and manage internal control systems within the area of responsibility, taking into account regulatory expectations and internal governance frameworks
YOUR PROFILE

Financial or business administration education and further accounting training
-
In-depth specialist knowledge of the IFRS accounting standards relevant to banks as well as sound knowledge of Swiss Banking GAAP

Several years of professional experience in financial accounting at a bank, preferably combined with practical experience in external banking audits

Experience with the regulatory requirements for banks within the meaning of the Banking Act and FINMA circulars desirable

High analytical competence, structured and independent working style with attention to detail and conceptual connections

Very good communication skills to be able to engage confidently with both financial reporting specialists and senior business stakeholders

Team-oriented attitude coupled with a willingness to continuously face new professional challenges

A high degree of flexibility, resilience and initiative in a dynamic regulatory and business environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in German is an advantage
