In tax payroll services at PwC, you will provide advice and guidance to clients on tax-related payroll matters. You will facilitate compliance with tax regulations in payroll processing, assist businesses in calculating and withholding taxes from employee wages, and help resolve payroll tax issues.
Your Impact
- Manage engagements for domestic and international clients.
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
- Implement and calculate our clients' payroll, taking into account applicable social security and legal requirements.
- Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
- Use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.
- Implement and calculate shadow payroll, including deductions for social security and taxes as well as gross-ups.
- Prepare all filings and reports on social security and withholding taxes, including tasks related to the annual year-end closing.
- Advise our clients on social security, withholding tax, and other aspects of personnel administration.
- Further develop the client portfolio.
- Lead a team of payroll specialists.
Your Skill Set
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll, ideally in an international company.
- A diploma in social insurance or an HR certification is an advantage.
- Strong customer focus with a careful and organized working style.
- You are German-speaking and have excellent written and spoken English; French is a plus.
- Enjoy leading and collaborating within a team.
