Project Manager I (60%) – Fixed-term contract until 31.12.2028
Your mission
You will support the necessary changes for the integration of autonomous vehicles into the world of public transport; thus, you will participate in the development and evaluation of future mobility solutions proposed by Geneva Public Transport and their partners in the Greater Geneva area.
Your main responsibilities
- Design and implement public transport development activities within tpg in the context of projects allowing the integration of these new vehicles,
- envision the integration of new mobility solutions, with a strong focus on inclusivity and sustainable development,
- participate in EU research and innovation programs "Horizon Europe",
- use data from various European partners to pragmatically and analytically address the potential of new offers, evaluate existing offers, and design the interconnection of public, private, and shared transport networks,
- prepare written deliverables related to tpg activities based on project needs,
- write scientific publications and technical deliverables,
- attend presentations, meetings, and participate in conferences related to various projects,
- establish and maintain professional and sustained relationships with all partners while defending the company's interests, both internally and with external stakeholders in your field of expertise.
Your profile
- Higher professional education, specialized university or equivalent training,
- a strong interest in integrating autonomous vehicles into a public transport service and researching other innovative and experimental mobility solutions,
- open to exchanges and knowledge sharing with companies related to autonomous vehicles, IT, transport, logistics, as well as authorities,
- project management skills, ideally within research and innovation projects of the Confederation and/or the European Union,
- perfect command of English (spoken and written), and good knowledge of French,
- good report writing skills; experience in writing scientific publications is an advantage,
- autonomous, organized and methodical by nature, proactive and bringing your own vision on the subject,
- excellent interpersonal skills, service-oriented and team spirit,
- ability to participate in meetings, workshops, and events related to projects in Europe.
