Finance Clerk (80%)
Finance and Controlling Department | from November 1, 2025 or by arrangement
The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology METAS is the reference institute for measurements and measuring instruments in Switzerland. To ensure that a liter is always a liter (e.g., when refueling), METAS performs calibrations, conformity assessments, and consulting for business, research, and administration. Measurement accuracy creates trust, especially at the societal and political level, and is indispensable in many areas: road traffic, electricity billing, time transmission, measurements in environmental and health sectors, etc. At METAS, various disciplines come together and complement each other – and this has been the case since 1862.
Your tasks
- Co-responsibility for accounts payable including processing of expense reports
- Co-responsibility for accounts receivable including dunning
- Versatile support in closing tasks
- Participation in the optimization and further development of processes in finance and accounting
Your profile
- Completed commercial basic training with further education as accounting clerk
- Several years of experience in finance/accounting
- Proficient use of SAP and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Open-minded, team-oriented, and reliable personality with a flexible, independent working style and personal responsibility
- Active knowledge of one official language and passive knowledge of a second official language
