Polymechanic - Buyer

• Responsible for the operational purchase of raw materials as well as auxiliary and operating materials
• Conducting offer comparisons, price negotiations, and contract conclusions with existing and new suppliers
• Conducting market analyses and identifying new sources of supply
• Ensuring timely and economical procurement considering quality, costs, and availability
• Collaboration with internal departments
• Maintenance and further development of supplier relationships including evaluations
• Active participation in shaping strategic purchasing initiatives and continuous improvement of procurement processes

• Technical basic training with further education in purchasing (e.g., purchasing specialist with a federal diploma)
• Several years of professional experience in international purchasing
• High negotiation skills, decisiveness, and assertiveness
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
• Fluent German skills as well as very good English skills
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP (S4 HANA)
