Head Controlling Governance (f/m/d)

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a pro-active, independent, structured and process-oriented Finance professional who wants to be part in defining, shaping and implementing the future Controlling environment of our fast-growing organization. This role will take the global lead for all Controlling governance related topics and will oversee and coordinate all activities within the S4/HANA Controlling workstream. As such, this position will play a key role in the set-up, testing and implementing of S4/HANA as well as the continued improvement & maintenance of the Controlling structure after the S4 go-live. As a leader of change, the person in this role shows agility and resilience in driving transformation and feels comfortable coordinating activities on a global level in a matrix organization.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & CAPABILITIES

• Global Owner of all SAP core controlling processes, structures & concepts (profit center, cost center, internal order, WBS etc.) in close collaboration with key stakeholders such as Group Accounting, Data & Tech, Operations, Global and Regional business owners etc.

• Active role in SAP S4/HANA implementation for all SAP Controlling topics and concepts

• Subject Matter Expert in SAP S4/HANA modules such as CO, MM, Margin Analyzer (CO-PA).

• Development, maintenance and improvement of controlling manuals, policies and principles

• Development and execution of respective training programs for all controlling topics

• Active role and key contributor in SAP rollouts for new entities.

• Leading and coordinating together with a small team the controlling activities for all shared service locations across the globe.

• Coordination and improving IC matching and cost allocation processes.

• Leading projects for key global initiatives

REQUIREMENTS NEEDED

• University/FH degree with focus on finance / controlling / auditing or comparable degree

• 10+ years of experience in controlling, preferably in an international and industrial environment

• Proven track record of handling, designing and implementing ERP systems (SAP FI/CO, SD/MM and SAP BW)

• MIS ALEA - knowledge is an advantage

• Sound IFRS knowledge

• Flexible and proactive “can do” attitude with the ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex cross-enterprise tasks and processes with multiple stakeholders even in stressful situations and remotely

• Networked and abstract thinking skills, quick comprehension

• High IT & number affinity

• Assertive, resilient, and result-oriented personality who is both self-driven and a strong team player

• Strong communicator with an open & positive attitude used to discuss with various stakeholders from different locations and different levels

• Fluent in English, German would be nice addition. Any extra language is an asset.
