Job Description

In this role, you take overall responsibility for the logistics site as well as the property.

Your tasks:

• Managing about 70 employees with five team leaders
• Promoting a positive, performance-oriented work climate through participative leadership and role modeling
• Operational coordination and monitoring of daily business; timely, flawless delivery of goods
• Planning and economic management of operating resources, vehicles, and storage facilities; initiating infrastructure work; contact person for administration
• Continuous process optimization to increase productivity and quality; application of lean tools (e.g., 5S, SFM, value stream analysis)
• Participation in budgeting and ensuring operational cost transparency
• Utilizing synergies and actively participating in cross-site projects
• Responsibility for occupational safety and property; implementation of measures, training, and controls; contact person for internal and external audits

Qualifications

• Solid education (e.g., certified logistics manager, technician HF business processes with NDS business administration, or equivalent qualification)
• Leadership experience in warehouse and distribution logistics
• Confident mastery of warehouse and distribution logistics processes
• In-depth knowledge of lean management for efficient design and continuous improvement of processes
• Solid professional knowledge in various systems (e.g., CRM, WMS, TMS)
• Sound understanding of business management issues
• Organized and structured working style that ensures oversight in projects
• Willingness for continuous self and team development as well as implementation of modern solution approaches
• Ability to shape and develop daily operations together with the management team
