The Kantonsschule Wattwil (KSW) and the Vocational and Continuing Education Center Toggenburg (BWZT) together form the Campus Wattwil, which is attended daily by around 1,200 students and learners. Around 250 employees work full-time or part-time for the campus.

Operations Manager with Cooking Function Cafeteria Campus Wattwil

What to expect
The construction of the Kantonsschule Wattwil is underway and will be operational in summer 2026. The cafeteria is to become the heart of the new Campus Wattwil, focusing on a regional, seasonal, and modern range of dishes. For the operational management as well as the final development and fine-tuning of the operating concept, we are looking for the future head of the cafeteria.
Your tasks include:
- Further developing the operating concept, creating the F&B concept, organizing pre-opening work from early summer 2026
- Building up the supplier base
- Personnel planning and management (total 4 FTE)
- Quality and offer development
- Host and representative of the cafeteria in the region
- Participation in budgeting and management of the operating account
What distinguishes you
- Cook EFZ (Head Chef with federal diploma, Head of Community Catering with federal diploma)
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable operation
- Leadership experience
- Experience with operating accounts, digital cash register systems, and cashless payment transactions
- Strong understanding of sustainable, regional, and modern cuisine
- Joy and interest in working with young people and in a school environment
