Industrial Software Development Engineer (m/f/d), 80-100%
Do you want to join a globally renowned company? We look forward to meeting you and learning more about you. To develop and maintain advanced software solutions, we are strengthening our Software Technical Office department.
Your tasks
- Development of graphical user interfaces (GUI) for our machine tools
- Technology watch (Industry 4.0, .NET, MAUI, AI Assistant, Machine Learning, ...)
- Participation in the development of architectures or new concepts
- Development of monitoring for our Bumotec machines (HMI page development, collaboration on machine instrumentation, data hosting, assistance in making data available to customers, improvement of predictive maintenance, ...)
- Documentation of developed functionalities and project tracking
- Continuous optimization of product performance and maintainability
- Assistance in commissioning new machine models and validating software products
- Technical support for After-Sales Service
Your expertise
- EPF/HES engineering degree in microtechnology or computer science (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in software development in an industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of the .NET environment, C# language, and interface design in WPF as well as Python
- Excellent knowledge of development standards and best practices
- Technical knowledge in industrial communication such as MQTT, OPC/UA, Profinet, TwinCAT, TCP/IP, ...
- Knowledge in managing Time Series and Relational databases and data storage technologies
- Autonomous, curious, rigorous, and proactive in carrying out assigned tasks
