About the Team
The Foundational Cryptography group currently includes:
- 9 permanent researchers
- 1 postdoctoral researcher
- 8 PhD candidates
- We work across the spectrum of theoretical and applied cryptography, with a strong track record of impactful research and collaboration.
Research Focus
The successful candidate will work on developing post-quantum cryptographic algorithms for:
- Human authentication
- PIN based protocols
- Internet of Things (IoT) environments
Expected Background
Applicants must have research experience or have passed graduate courses with excellent grades in at least one of the following areas:
- Lattice based cryptography
- Multi party computation
- Password authenticated key exchange
