The Office for Economy and Labor provides a variety of services for companies, employees, and job seekers. The cantonal unemployment fund with around 70 employees clarifies entitlement to unemployment insurance benefits, pays out benefits, advises employers on short-time work and bad weather compensation, and supports companies with personnel measures and bankruptcies.
