Engineer Infrastructure Planning Electricity 80-100%

: In this exciting role, you are responsible for the medium- and long-term target network planning for electricity (medium and low voltage) and its implementation, taking into account the development of various urban areas, regulatory requirements, and asset management relevant topics for networks and systems.

This is your job

• Developing and implementing the target network planning NE5-7 including impacts (investments, supply security, tariffs, costs, benefits, personal safety, regulation, value preservation, etc.)
• Leading network projects with integration of new technologies (storage, production, measurement, control, etc.) with overall responsibility for quality, costs, and deadlines
• Performing calculations (load flow and short-circuit current calculations) and risk assessments for various variants in the low and medium voltage network including systems. Deriving requirements and framework conditions for the network optimization strategy (using PowerFactory)
• Collaborating in the technical assessment of connection applications
• Defining the framework conditions for network construction standards and dimensioning

This is what you bring

• Basic electrical engineering training, preferably as an electrician or assembly electrician, with further education/studies to become an engineer
• Ideally further education in business administration and/or project management
• Proven professional experience, preferably in infrastructure planning in the electricity division considering battery storage, smart solutions, integration of stochastic energy generation systems, etc.
• Proficient use of load flow simulation software (PowerFactory), MS Office applications, ERP and GIS systems, and affinity for data analysis and programming (Python, FME)
• High reliability, independence, planning and organizational skills
• Networked, proactive and innovative thinking and quick comprehension
• Main language German or French with good knowledge of the other language
