About the job
In this exciting role, you will gain in-depth insights into financial market law and apply your analytical as well as investigative skills in a targeted manner. You will conduct investigations into possible unauthorized activities and deal with innovative business models.
Main tasks
- Conducting investigations against companies that may violate financial market licensing requirements, especially in the fintech sector
- Financial market law assessment of the identified activities
- Developing appropriate measures to protect investors and enforce financial market licensing requirements
- Representing the conducted investigations and analyses before FINMA decision-making bodies
- Contributing to the consolidation and further development of enforcement practice
Profile
- Completed master's degree in law from a Swiss university
- Initial professional or practical experience in the financial sector is an advantage
- Good analytical thinking skills and enjoyment of investigative and structured fact-finding
- Interest in fintech business models, especially in the areas of blockchain and cryptocurrencies
- Independent, careful, and solution-oriented working style
- High-level written and oral proficiency in German (C2) and good knowledge of French. English or Italian skills are an advantage.
