The position reports to the COO and is part of the management team. You build a close collaboration with the VICAT team "SATM Grands Travaux" and leverage synergies in know-how, resources, and projects. The core task is the acquisition and management of cross-divisional large projects in Switzerland and occasionally abroad, to secure long-term profitable contracts and revenues along the material cycle of the Vigier Group. Large projects are defined as undertakings over 100,000 m³ concrete equivalent with multi-year duration and high complexity.

• Acquisition and support of large projects throughout Switzerland and in neighboring countries – in close cooperation and coordination with the operational units of Vigier/VICAT, especially with the division heads and the COO.
• Overall responsibility for complex large projects – from conception through planning and design to execution and commissioning or handover to the line after project completion. Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary project teams.
• Negotiation and coordination responsibility in active customer acquisition and support of large projects – in direct exchange with clients, authorities, specialist planners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders of the divisions.
• Represents Vigier (and its divisions) towards authorities, clients, builders, construction companies and establishes/uses appropriate contacts with division representatives.
• Coordination and documentation of ongoing activities related to future (potential) and ongoing tender procedures.
• Leads interdisciplinary teams as project manager.
• Ensures a confident, engaging, and competent appearance towards internal and external stakeholders.

• Engineer with proven experience in overall management of complex large projects and high technical expertise.
• Several years of leadership experience in senior roles within the building materials industry.
• Innovative strength and joy in developing new, creative solutions in close collaboration with all (internal and external) affected stakeholders.
• Very good knowledge of Swiss construction law and tendering and approval procedures. Experience in dealing with authorities and clients/construction companies.
• Enjoys taking responsibility and possesses pronounced project management skills as well as exceptional organizational talent. Is accustomed to handling pressure.
• Native German speaker with very good French skills. English is an advantage.
