Responsible Public Fundraising 70% - 100% (m/f/d)
As a clear leader in the field of visual impairment, the sbv is well established with its services among a loyal donor base. At the same time, we are actively working to convince a new and younger target group of the good services of the sbv and to use the various communication channels. Here you have the chance to use your skills and creativity profitably. The workplace is in the city of Bern, home office is partially possible.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for public fundraising in all its facets. You implement parts of it yourself and work closely with external agencies and internal departments
- Commissioning our agencies with the conception, planning, coordination of creation to realization as well as the evaluation of the resources used and their effectiveness
- Responsibility for planning and procurement of suitable reinforcement measures, especially the giveaways (promotional material production) for our direct mailings
- Lead role in controlling and optimizing all direct marketing measures as well as maintaining donor segments (regular donors and potential new donors)
- You continuously share the statistics on results and activities as well as the conclusions drawn from them with the team
- Further development of the fundraising strategy and implementation of the resulting measures
- Co-responsible for the (multi-)annual planning with goals, measures, and budget
- Assistance in your area with managing the donation database and ensuring the respective interfaces
Your profile
- Fundraising or equivalent training and a flair for numbers
- Several years of professional experience in fundraising and/or marketing
- Good communication skills, confident in spoken and written German or French with good knowledge of the other language
- A sense for compelling stories as well as a flair for design
- Organizational talent with the ability to keep an overview even in hectic moments
- You are confident in negotiations, socially competent, and have a high degree of initiative and personal responsibility
- You have analytical skills, work precisely, and have a high quality awareness
- You are familiar with database management, donor journeys, and have experience with digital fundraising
- You are a winning personality with a goal-oriented, independent, and pragmatic working style.
