Advanced Test Technician (100%)

  • Your mission is to enable rapid testing of new product ideas and concepts delivering reliable results to make continue, pivot or kill decision. Operate, monitor and plan test facilities to enable product development. 
  • You will operate existing test facilities and monitor their performance. 
  • You are responsible for executing test activities and prototypes in product development, including testing new hardware components, sorbent materials, and adsorption processes, ensuring reproducible results. 
  • Your assistance is crucial during the commissioning of both new and existing test facilities and prototypes. 
  • You must ensure that the quality of measurements and measurement data meets specified requirements. 
  • Your role includes enabling further data evaluation and maintaining a smooth information flow. 
  • You will work closely with other teams and departments and you will plan, build, or adjust and commission new test facilities. 
  • You will coordinate and monitor test operations, finding solutions to any problems that may arise. 
  • Your responsibility is to enable the fulfillment of testing requirements for product development. 
  • You will support optimizations to current test setups and ensure implementation post-approval. 
  • Your role involves the development and optimization of testing facilities. 
  • You are expected to suggest optimizations to current test setups and ensure implementation upon approval.
    • You hold a Technician (FH) in mechanical engineering or a related field and you bring practical experience and have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position.
    • You possess hands-on experience in testing and prototyping, coupled with knowledge of testing process designs on a small and medium scale.
    • Your expertise includes understanding Thermo- and Fluid dynamics.
    • You demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team, effectively coordinating work packages.
    • Your adaptability shines as you navigate situations with unknown or lacking information.
    • You have excellent communication and organizational skills, along with interdisciplinary team compatibility, characterize your professional approach.
    • You work independently with a reliable and structured approach, emphasizing quality awareness and a willingness to learn.
    • You are fluent both English and German and you are motivated to occasionally travel.
