Sexton / Caretaker Neumünster Parish House (100%)
The church district seven eight belongs to the Zurich parish and includes the church locations Balgrist, Fluntern, Hottingen, and Neumünster. For the caretaker and sexton team of the church district, we are looking for you as of April 1, 2026, or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Caretaker and host in the newly renovated parish house on Zollikerstrasse with deputy sexton duties at the Neumünster Church
- Responsible for occupational safety and health protection (ASGS) in the church district seven eight
- Receiving inquiries for internal and external rentals, conducting tours of the premises, contact person for event organizers
- Setting up the rooms, welcoming parish members/event attendees, and accompanying various occasions and services with up to 800 participants
- Controlling and operating technical systems as well as performing minor repair work
- Organizing and carrying out maintenance and basic cleaning work inside and outside the buildings (including winter service)
- Future support in supervising trainees "Specialist in Facility Management EFZ" and accompanying interns
Your profile
- Completed vocational training as a Specialist in Facility Management EFZ, caretaker training with a federal certificate, or many years of experience in a craft profession
- Extensive experience in building technology, cleaning work, and as a host
- Willingness to complete the sexton course and further training in ASGS
- Service-oriented, reliable, and physically resilient personality
- Good German skills in spoken and written form as well as Microsoft Office user knowledge
- Willingness to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Preferably a member of a national church
