The Kantonsschule Uetikon am See (KUE) was newly founded in summer 2018 and is still in the development phase. It offers a lower secondary level (9th/10th school year) and five of the Zurich Matura profiles (classical languages, mathematical-natural sciences, modern languages, economic-law, as well as philosophical-pedagogical-psychological). Until the move to the new buildings on the CU site directly by the lake (expected in 2032), the KUE has a student body of around 800 students.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a caretaker starting November 1 or by agreement.

Your tasks
In this role, you act as the interface between all user groups of the school building. You are used to working independently and enjoy a varied daily routine. It is important to reconcile the diverse needs of all building users with service-oriented skill. Your positive attitude and benevolent basic approach will benefit you in this – as well as in daily interactions with students.
The following activities are part of your daily routine:
- Maintenance and upkeep of the infrastructure
- Independent repair and maintenance work
- Support of school events, occasionally also in the evening
- Quality assurance of external cleaning
- Supervision of student assistants
- Organization of craftsmen (repairs, conversions, etc.)
- Maintenance of the surroundings

Your profile
We are looking for a person who brings the following:
- Facility management specialist or practitioner, or a craft apprenticeship
- Good German skills (spoken and written)
- High commitment and flexibility
- Working hours usually between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- Enjoyment in working with young people
