About the job
For our Weighing & Instrument Components (MTWIC) division, which is leading in the industrialization and production of laboratory scales and other high-resolution gravimetric instruments, MFR force sensor terminals, and circuit boards for the entire MT group, we are looking for a motivated person at the Nänikon/Greifensee site, the global operational headquarters of METTLER TOLEDO, as: Teamlead Mechanical Manufacturing. In this role, you will take on the following tasks: Personnel and technical leadership of a team of around 13 employees in the Mechanical Manufacturing area Ensuring the availability of mechanically manufactured components and assemblies Optimization of productivity, machine utilization, and continuous improvement processes Ensuring the production of bending bearings in collaboration with R&D Coordination and consulting in R&D projects, quality cases, and industrialization processes Implementation and support of Lean Management initiatives (e.g., zero defects, 5S, Kaizen, Jidoka, CIP) Hands-on activities in production as needed to ensure technical competence and leadership by example Evaluation and support in the introduction of new machines and infrastructure Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental requirements as well as adherence to budget and economic goals
