Marketing Consultant 100% (fixed-term Contract, 01.07-31.12.2025)

This role is part of the broader corporate marketing department, which includes over 15 team members. You will be joining the Digital Marketing team, responsible for the marketing and commercial performance of our digital channels, including our mobile app, CRM, loyalty program, and value propositions. This role will allow you to work across a multitude of campaigns serving the entire Swiss population and have internally following stakeholders (not exhausted list) Wider marketing teams., aagencies, Business and Consumer Insight team, Technology team, Operations, Franchisees and respective forums.
You will have the following duties and responsibilities:

- Work closely with our agencies to brief in the plan with clarity and the appropriate customer insights.
- Support the (interim) marketing manager in developing the digital and value strategies including delivery fee testing for our owned channel
- Support the Marketing Manager in developing the annual digital marketing strategy, along with channel plans across paid media, PR and CRM, and have that approved across a number of key franchisee facing stakeholder forums such as the Marketing Committee.
- Lead the development of media strategies and plans against agreed programmes alongside OMD.
- Support the development of all campaign related ATL creative (TV, radio, press, outdoor, mobile and online) and technical supervision of photography. This includes BTL creative, corporate website and internal communication against agreed marketing programmes
- Develop clear success criteria, including performance reporting that allows for quick decisioning to optimise the plan vs business and marketing objectives.
- Lead critical time paths for on-time delivery of all initiatives.
- Commit to timely reviews of campaigns once they complete, and input learnings into subsequent planning sessions.
- Demonstrate best in class communication, exceptional presentation skills and strong internal
relationships and system practices.

- Take ownership for given projects and display genuine initiative, drive, and passion for
these projects; and communicate an understanding of the role that each programme plays within the whole McDonald's system.

- Demonstrate a real understanding of the McDonald's business and firm grasp of ongoing
- business numbers in all presentations, planning and implementation of briefs.

To be successful in this role, we believe you need to be/have :

- Minimum 5 yrs marketing experience
- Fluent in English
- Solid experience in a large marketing organization; global or multi-brand exposure is a plus
- Broad marketing background with a strong grasp of digital channels
- Proven track record in managing end-to-end campaigns for major brands (Retail/FMCG preferred)
- Strong project management, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Commercially savvy with solid financial understanding
- Collaborative team player with leadership and mentoring experience
- Creative thinker and problem solver with a proactive mindset
- Excellent communicator, able to influence and drive cross-functional projects
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
