The Küsnacht school offers lunch, day, and holiday care for around 1,000 children from 1st kindergarten to 6th grade in four school-complementary care facilities (KICK). The children are cared for during non-teaching times and school holidays. Additionally, there is also a family-complementary offer. In the community-owned Heslibach daycare center with 24 day places, children aged from three months to kindergarten entry with different social and cultural backgrounds are cared for.
For our KICK pool of "floaters" for our care facilities KICK Itschnach, KICK Goldbach, KICK Heslibach, KICK Dorf and the Heslibach daycare center, we are looking for several people to start immediately or by arrangement
"Floaters" as Care Assistants
Your tasks
- "Floaters" are needed for illness or other absences of existing employees, often at very short notice – a permanent position or a position with a fixed workload is not possible
Possible working hours are Monday to Friday and daily deployment times are from 07:00 to 18:15, whereby "floaters" must be deployable for at least three full days per week (please indicate your three possible deployment days from Mon to Fri in the application tool)
- Participate in the care of children and toddlers
- Accompany the children
- Household tasks, including cleaning
- Care and leisure activities for the children in close cooperation with the group leader and the care team
- Work in holiday care
What you bring with you
- Preferably already professional experience in caring for groups of children in kindergarten, primary, and preschool age
- Positive view of people, quality awareness, teamwork, resilience, and independence
- Empathetic, loving, and patient in dealing with children
- Motivated, curious, and interested in the development of children
- Resilient, responsible as well as humorous
- Very good oral and written German skills
- Residence preferably in the Küsnacht ZH region
